Getting started

This page shows you how to get access to oneGRID, log in, and find your way around for the first time. It is for all users.

What is oneGRID

oneGRID is CAPTRON's cloud platform for light-guided warehouse operations. It guides you through picking, placing, and sorting tasks with LED signals and sensor buttons on your racks, and it manages the work orders, items, storages, and devices behind those tasks. You use oneGRID in a web browser.

Get access

An administrator of your organization creates your user account — see Manage users. There are two kinds of accounts:

  • oneGRID account — you receive a registration email. Follow the link in the email to set your password and complete the registration.
  • Company account — your organization connects its own Microsoft sign-in. You log in with your usual company credentials and receive no registration email.

If you have not received a registration email, ask your administrator to resend it.

  1. Open the oneGRID address of your organization in your browser.
  2. Click Log in. The Microsoft sign-in page opens.
  3. Sign in with your email address and password. oneGRID opens on the Main Menu.
info

Which tiles and menu entries you see after logging in depends on the permissions assigned to your account and on your organization's license. Users who only monitor devices land on the IoT Dashboard instead of the Main Menu.

If you forgot your password, use the password reset option on the sign-in page and follow the instructions.

Log out

  1. Click your avatar in the top-right corner.
  2. Click Log out. You are signed out of oneGRID.

Choose your language

oneGRID is available in English, German, and Chinese.

  1. Click your avatar in the top-right corner.
  2. Click Account. The Account page opens.
  3. Select your language in the Language dropdown. The user interface switches to the selected language.
