Device presets
This page describes how to manage presets — reusable bundles of device settings. Use presets to configure many devices consistently. Managing presets requires the IoT Administration permission.
Where to find it
- Open the Presets page from the IoT Dashboard.
Manage presets
- Click Add preset, enter a name, and define the settings.
- Save. The preset can now be applied to devices.
- To adjust a preset, open its details and edit it. When you apply changes, a dialog warns you that the preset settings were modified, because the change affects the devices using the preset.
- To remove a preset, delete it from the list.
