Check and adjust stock

This workflow shows you how to check and correct stock with Inventory Management. Use it for stocktaking, corrections, and finding where an item or a free location is.

Role: Operator

Prerequisites

• Your account has the Inventory Management permission for the storage.

Steps

Check and adjust an item's stock

1. On the Main Menu, click Inventory Management.
2. On the Item tab, search for the item. Its stock and locations are shown.
3. To correct an amount, adjust it on the location and confirm. The default adjustment amount comes from the storage settings.
4. To store the item somewhere, place it on a location directly from this page.

Check a location

1. Switch to the Location tab.
2. Search for the location. Its contents are shown.
3. From here you can view the guidance to the location or display empty locations of the storage.

Result

The stock recorded in oneGRID matches the physical stock, and you know where items and free locations are.
